After six years, we upped and left our North London offices and bedded down in our brand sports venue under London Bridge station. It’s like the end of an era … but the beginning of a whole new one.  Our address is now:

This weekend we’re opening the main entrance on St Thomas Street for the first time, so teams should come in on that side rather than Weston Street next week.  We’re also kicking off the Skating Heaven Roller Disco! Visit their very cool site at www.skatingheaven.com

We got sent this just now, highlighting a growing bust-up between the French and Irish governments ahead of the World Cup play-off match and simply HAD to share it. TCHQers are still ROFL in response to this little gem.

So, move over Elizabeth Lambert - your 15 minutes are up (although if you’ve still not seen the footage of this footballing femme fatale, you should treat yourself).

What is it about table tennis?  As anyone who spent days and weeks of their childhood in the garage, or over the dining room table, with a net that kept collapsing will know, it’s simple to learn and highly addictive. And it’s suddenly surging in popularity.  In New York the club SPiN, opened by Susan Sarandon, has caught the imagination.

T47 features three Fred Perry tables in a chic blue that are available for hire.  The cost is only £10 per half hour for a table during peak hours (Mon-Thu 6-9 PM – just turn up).  At other times you can play for only £5 per half hour (please call to check we’re open on 020 7700 1888).  Bring your own equipment, or hire for £2.

PS and did we mention that we have an adult sized bouncy castle? Available for parties and events for £50 per hour.
