Saturday 12th June 6 pm – Join us for a celebratory mixed game of football at T47 London Bridge.  Then get to your reserved seat in The Tunnel Bar in time for the anthems!

England v USA is always an emotive game, and following events in the Gulf of Mexico it’s going to be even tougher.  And as Obama tries to work out with his experts “whose ass to kick” (clue: Tony H**ward, c/o British Petroleum), England will be looking nervously at a challenging game against a team that is more than capable of an upset.  The USA reached the Confederations Cup Final in South Africa last year, beating Spain along the way.

There’s no charge for the 6 pm Kickaround, and if you pre-order your first drink we’ll save you a seat!  You must let us know if you want to take part by 5 pm on Friday.  Call us on 020 7036 9923 or email Kevin.

For the purist, the pick of the World Cup 2010 group stages is undoubtedly Brazil v Portugal at 3 pm on Friday 25th June.

Charity Kids Company are holding an event to celebrate this game at T47 London Bridge.  The day includes:

3 pm Brazil v Portugal on the big screens in the Tunnel Bar
5 pm  Exhibition of Futsal – the form of 5-a-side that helped all the great Brazilian players to learn football.
5.15  Futsal Tournament kicks off
7.15 Final

The event costs £80 for a team, and spectators are welcome.  Full details are here.

To celebrate England’s World Cup campaign, we’re offering half price pitches at T47 London Bridge on the days of England’s qualifying matches.  Come and play a match before the game and we’ll even give you a pitcher of beer to help you enjoy it even more!

Why not organise a company game, then relax with some drinks in the Tunnel Bar (see next post)?  Any team booking to play at T47 on these days will receive a voucher for a pitcher of beer, valid during any England game.

African sports charity Alive & Kicking is hosting a special screening of the England vs. Algeria match (18^th June – 7:30KO) at T47’s incredible Tunnel Bar to celebrate the first World Cup on African soil.

It’s only £5 entry to watch the game on a big screen with unrestricted views and plenty of space – tickets include entrance into a World Cup raffle with great prizes, including a signed Chelsea shirt, signed Michael Owen ball, Chelsea tickets, Wembley tickets and more. All proceeds go to charity.

Make an occasion of it by playing in Alive & Kicking’s charity tournament before the big match from 5:30pm for only £20 per player. This price gets you entry into the tournament, match screening and raffle.

Each player gets a free beer after the tournament too! Come down and help Alive & Kicking create a lasting legacy to the World Cup.
