League Manager

Top Corner, London’s leading team sports provider, has an exciting opportunity in its London office for a League Manager. You must be passionate about sport, have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy a busy team orientated environment.
League Management is the key function at Top Corner. You will be directly responsible for managing a large number of leagues, and will be the point of contact for all of the teams within those leagues. If you are someone who thrives under pressure, is well organized, will take initiative to keep our customers happy and increase growth, this could be the job for you.
Our business is based on football and netball, and so experience in either or both of those sports is an advantage. However, if you have a general interest in sport we’d like to hear from you.
Our office is based in London Bridge, just three minutes’ walk from the tube station (Northern and Jubilee lines).
MAIN DUTIES
League Manager
The League Manager will primarily be responsible for:
- League set-up and maintenance
- Arranging fixtures
- League credit control
- Maintaining our unique league management database
- Ensure smooth day to day running of leagues
- Maintaining high team retention and promoting the leagues
- Dealing with enquiries from members
- Resolving disciplinary issues
- Appointing and liaising with match officials
- Organisation of annual league related events e.g. Top Corner Champions Cup
- Liaise with Facilities Manager regarding league time and league stock control
- Visiting pitches to monitor the leagues and facilities, and to interact with teams.
Skills Required
- Good communication and email etiquette
- Good organizational skills
- Competent with Microsoft software e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, etc
- Ability to adhere to deadlines and to work well under pressure
- Good time management
- Proactive problem solver
- Innovative thinker
Education
Candidates should be educated to degree level or equivalent.

The basis of Top Corner’s business is the football and netball leagues it operates in the London area, with over 600 teams playing every week. Netball started in January 2005 and this is growing quickly, with around a quarter of all league teams now being netball teams.

Salary
Salary is £17,500 – £20,500 pa depending on experience. We also offer staff bonuses dependent on credit control and general company success. Salary and package to be reviewed after 12 months.
